Fort Aspenwood bonding
edit: oh god, I just realized this is a PvE board <.< I'll move my attempts to learn about bonding elsewhere, I presume. sorry .-.
still, if anyone could brief me on the basics of bonding it would still be helpful.

life barrier, life bond, balthazar's spirit, blessed signet, essence bond, prot spirit, dwayna's kiss, [whatever]
Life barrier, life bond, essence bond, and prot spirit on what you're bonding.
Dwayna's for big heal on the target you're bonding. I recommend throwing condition/hex control as well.
I haven't bonded FA in a long time... really long time.
EDIT: Oh, Gaze of Contempt = you're done. Well of Profane = you're done.

I also bring Mantra of Inscriptions for a faster recharge on Blessed Signet.
Oh, and Nature's Renewal can make your day less fun too :P

I haven't played or bonded in Fort Aspenwood in a very long time. It used to be fun until the place got swamped with leechers. Have a read of this thread, it may help.

The /report system fixed that pretty much completely. I played a couple of matches (as a bonder and an amber runner) last week and I think I only had one guy leave (because I threatened to report him if he didn't move his ass from the spawn point).

Just a quick question. What makes a bonder better than a normal prot in FA? I played several matches and instead of bonds I used PS, SoA, Shielding Hands on the ele and it worked very well. (also used blessed aura to extend SoA and SH)

You can bond from behind the gate and keep yourself out of range of the luxons. So either they bring enchant strips, or you beat them at the green gate without fail.

Yup, bond up the old Juggy, and you're good to go. It's damn boring, though, I gotta warn ya.

I always bond the ele cause he at least doesn't wander all over the place.

Eh, I prefer the challenge, and any damage that does get through gets absorbed by his armor (life bond only protects against attacks, not spells). I've found he lasts longer.
